Serving the North Central Region of PA and Beyond…
BCPAC’s success can be measured by it's volunteers, donor support and audience attendance, creating a significant economic impact on the businesses in Bradford and the surrounding area.
BCPAC’s patron list numbers hundreds of supporters, with donor and corporate support totals more than $80,000 each year. Audience attendance annually surpasses more than 4500. The annual patron drive is held each year to solicit funding through the generosity of the arts community. BCPAC honors its donors by listing their names in the BCPAC season programs and inviting them to special events whenever possible.
BCPAC has obtained grants from a number of foundations and arts organizations, including the The Blaisdell Foundation, Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, PENN-PAT Endowment, the United Way of the Bradford Area, and the Mid-Atlantic Arts Foundation.
In 2002, BCPAC initiated the Jim Guelfi Endowment Fund to help sustain its effort of fostering and promoting the creative and performing arts, and in 2016 was able to hire its first ever full time Executive Director.
Donor, corporate and grant support helps keep the ticket prices reasonable as the Bradford area/McKean County has significantly above-average percent of both elderly and low-income residents. While the audience is primarily from the City of Bradford and McKean County, BCPAC programs draw support from Elk, Cameron, Potter and Warren counties in Pennsylvania and Cattaraugus and Chautauqua counties in New York state.
